The living room has a log fire, TV (French channels only) with DVD player, seating for 8 and a dining table seating 8.

The sauna is available for an additional payment of 150 euros per week. Robes and separate towels for use with the sauna are not provided.

The balcony has views onto a large grassed garden surrounded by tall hedges and has a wooden table seating 6 and chairs. The chalet is on the main Chavannes road, but children may play safely in the private enclosed garden.

The large garage affords plenty of storage space for ski equipment and mountain bikes and a stock of logs for the fire is kept outside the front door.

There is parking for 3 cars.

In winter, 5 min walking/ski-shuffling shortcut off the nearest corner up the Chavannes road through to the Gibannaz road offers the most immediate access to and from the Chavannes piste.

Alternatively, a free shuttle bus stops almost outside the chalet for a brief ride of a few minutes either down the hill into Les Gets or up the hill to the Les Folliets chair-lift, giving access to the rest of the Portes du Soleil region.

In summer, the swimming lake is a 15 min walk via the shortcut mentioned above. A free shuttle bus also runs up and down the Chavannes road.

The chalets are filling up fast - however we do still have some great weeks available. Christmas is still available in chalet Intime. Although half-term week of the 19th February has sold out in all of our chalets, we do still have space available in other February weeks. Many schools will be breaking up for easter over the first two weeks of April and there are still many properties available then.

We have taken on a few great, new chalets for the forthcoming season. Chalet Blanc is a large and welcoming chalet, capable of sleeping up to 15 guests, and it comes beautifully appointed, and with all of the luxuries you would expect from a top end chalet: wifi, satellite television, and an outdoor hot tub. In winter, you can pop your skis on at the door and scoot 100m down the road or across the field to the main Chavannes piste. At the end of the day you can ski right to the door from the Bruyeres (blue) piste via a short (50 metre) “secret” path.

 In summer, the chalet is 10 mins easy walk to the swimming lake. The chalet is at the end of a quiet road and children may play safely. There is a grassy area to the side of the building.

No free shuttle bus runs along the Gibannaz road on which the chalet is situated. The nearest stop for the bus is a 7 mins walk to the Chavannes road.

Chalet Les Mures - self catered chalet in Les Gets

Alternatively, a free shuttle bus stops on the Chavannes road a few mins walk from the chalet for a brief ride either down into Les Gets or up to the Les Folliets chair-lift, giving access to the rest of the Portes du Soleil region.

In summer, the deck and small grassed area allow plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing and children may play safely, as the chalet is at the end of a quiet cul de sac. The outdoor furniture includes a table, 4 wicker chairs and 4 wooden chairs and 2 sun loungers and a BBQ.

There is also a dartboard, boules set, cricket set, table tennis table with bats (bring your own supply of balls as they tend to get lost!) and badminton racquets (bring your own shuttlecocks). There is a volleyball/badminton net in the park near the swimming lake, which is just a 15 min walk away via the shortcut mentioned above. A free shuttle bus also runs up and down the Chavannes road in summer.
