This charming and tastefully decorated apartment occupies the ground floor of the impressive Chalet Volets Bleus. This architect designed chalet was built 10 yrs ago for the current owners and faces south across the valley and Mont Chery. The apartment is fully self contained and consists of: a bedroom with a double bed; a very light living room with a kitchen range at one end, and French windows looking south onto the front garden and the valley beyond; and a shower room. Also on the ground floor is a large cave.

Bedroom: Double bed, lighting is via bedside table lamps, switches on the wall. Clothes storage: chest of drawers, Shaker style pegs on the wall. There is a large cupboard in the living room which can also store clothes.

The chalet is situated in the Char Rond area of Les Gets, on the road up to the school. In winter access to and from the piste down to the village takes about 5min of walking and ski poling; after a snow fall it can be ski-in/ski-out. The bus stop for the free shuttle to the lifts is 100m away. In summer the chalet is 300m from the swimming lake and access to the footpaths up to Chavannes

The hot tub is at the rear of the property on the patio facing south and west, and may be accessed via a door on the ground floor (towelling robes and separate towels for use with the hot tub are not provided).

The chalet is on a private access road with no passing traffic and children may play safely outside.

There is a stock of logs for the use of guests and there is parking for 2 to 3 cars.

The nearest lift is in La Turche, a 10 minute walk away, or it is also just 10 minutes’ walk to the main Chavannes lifts in the village. A free shuttle bus stops within 50m of the chalet on the main route de la Turche and runs regularly into the centre.

The owners of this chalet live in the adjacent chalet and own Blanc Sports in the village, from where you may hire skis and boots at a 10% discount and leave them in their shop overnight.

This chalet is not available to rent in the summer.

The balcony has a marble-topped table seating 4, chairs and BBQ. The chalet is on a private access road with no passing traffic and children may play safely in the small grassed garden.

The laundry room has a washing machine, condenser dryer and drying rack. There are two 300 litre tanks providing lots of hot water. The large garage has a stock of logs for the fire and affords plenty of storage space for ski equipment and mountain bikes.

There is parking for 2 to 3 cars.

In winter, experienced skiers can ski back to the chalet on the unpisted Mont Chery black run.

In summer, the Petit Train or a free shuttle bus runs from outside the Mont Chery telecabine (10 mins’ walk) to the swimming lake.

Winter and summer, a free shuttle bus runs along the main Lassarre road into the village centre.
